The Gait Lab began as a vision I developed while working for a large corporate orthotic and prosthetic company. Frustrated by the limitations of big-corporation-style healthcare, I wanted to create a place where clients’ individual needs could truly come first—and where creativity and evidence-based care could become a reality.

While still employed there, I earned my MBA in Entrepreneurship and Project Management from Ursuline College and simultaneously pursued advanced education in gait analysis systems. I needed a setting where I could design and build the solutions I envisioned—solutions guided by what the data from gait analysis showed would be functionally effective.

That vision became The Gait Lab. Here, I can put our clients’ needs at the center of everything I do. Our interactive gait (walking and movement) analysis technology is at the core of our work. Sessions are clear and collaborative: I analyze your walking patterns together, deepen our understanding of your specific challenges, design custom assistive devices, establish meaningful outcome markers, and track progress in real time to support better performance and mobility.

The Gait Lab welcomes individuals who have experienced stroke, brain injury, lower- or upper-limb paralysis, neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, or Cerebral Palsy, orthopedic challenges, or foot and ankle issues that make walking and getting around the community difficult.
